Independent Veterans of America (IVA) is the first and only organization in America focused on identifying, empowering and electing politically independent and unaffiliated American veterans.
Built around the unique power and potential of veterans, IVA grows, deploys and elects a new generation of leaders that will protect the soul of the country we love, defend the values we hold dear, and improve our nation for generations to come.

IVA- CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENT CRITERIA
We welcome all independent veterans running for elected office to apply for IVA endorsement.
If you’re an independent veteran of high caliber, we want you!
In order to be considered for 2024 endorsement by IVA, all applicants must complete the following by 12PM ET on August 31, 2024:
- Register as a member of Independent Veterans of America.
- File as an independent or unaffiliated candidate for elected office.
- Have your military service confirmed by IVA.
- Sign the pledge to abide by IVA values of integrity, independence, respect and honor.
- Complete an interview with IVA leadership (virtually).
- Agree to attend (in-person or virtually) the First Annual IVA Convention in NYC in September, 2024.
