Omaha, NE – November 1, 2024  Independent Veterans of America PAC is proud to announce the launch of a massive, full-spectrum voter engagement plan to support three independent veteran candidates for public office in Nebraska. The goal of this historic new effort it to help elect independent Navy veteran Dan Osborn to US Senate, independent Army veteran Nick Batter to the State Legislature from District #13 (Omaha), and independent Air Force veteran Jason Taylor to Learning Community Coordinating Council from District #6 (Douglas and Sarpy Counties).

The six-figure commitment represents the largest investment ever made to support the election of independent veteran candidates. 

The massive, data-driven effort is focusing on reaching every single veteran, independent and likely voter in the state of Nebraska. 

Nebraska’s supportive political system, independent culture, history of independent reform, and deep pool of independent leaders make it a model for the rest of America in showing the potential and power of the independent movement. Nebraska is what right looks like. And the rest of the country should follow their common-sense, fair and patriotic lead. These unique conditions have driven IVA’s innovative investment in this election cycle. 

IVA PAC is also sending additional support to eight other independent veteran candidates in South Dakota, Florida, North Carolina and California.

The three Nebraska veterans are led most prominently by Dan Osborn–who is making national headlines and in position to shock the political world next week by defeating incumbent partisan Senator Deb Fisher. These independent vet candidates are the tip of the spear for a much larger national independent veterans movement that is inspiring people of all political backgrounds across America. And all three are in a position to win and send a message that will be heard nationwide–as Nebraska continues to lead the way. 

Operation Elect Nebraskan Independent Veterans includes a wide-range of candid, strong and independent messages and will feature Medal of Honor Recipient, Former Nebraska Governor and Senator Bob Kerrey and legendary Super Bowl Champion and Vietnam Vet Rocky Bleier.
