Why is he running?
To bring about change to my community while working to reverse the encroachment of our civil liberties from the local government. I also want to provide better transparency, so the citizens are better informed with how the government is spending their money.
Why are you an independent?
I’m tired of the two-party system and the amount of money in politics makes it hard for independent voters’ voices to be heard.
What are your top three priority issues?
Government transparency, youth engagement, and more accessible Healthcare options for the community and veterans.
What are your positions that help support empowering independents (open primaries etc)?
RCV and open primaries which provide the voter’s voice to be better heard.
What will you do to support your fellow veterans and members of the military community?
Veteran healthcare is pitiful in my community so working to give them better access is critical. There is a Navy installation in my city and making sure members of the base’s opinions are heard is vital to the success of the community.
