Freedom from part constraints. To build unity over division. Represent diverse views. Build flexibility in governance. Be an advocate for change.
What are your top three priority issues?
Safe and healthy communities Strong and resilient economy Inclusive and sustainable services
What are your positions that help support empowering independents (open primaries etc)?
I support open primaries because they would increase voter participation, provide moderates a broader stage and reduce the partisanship that exists in today’s politics.
What will you do to support your fellow veterans and members of the military community?
Seek opportunities for employment and economic opportunities. Work on housing affordability and homelessness prevention. Ensure a connection to their VA benefits and bring those services locally. Work to create community and support networks. Celebrate and recognize them at the local level so residents never forget our sacrifice.
